Photographer Spotlight - 08.29.2013
Yesterday I was chatting with an Israel based photographer I've been following for awhile named Yulia Gorodinski. I think I first stumbled upon her work while I was browsing through photographers on Behance.net a few years ago. I was instantly a fan, not only because her photos are awesome, but because the main body of her work consists of self-portraits which she has managed to capture beautifully and creatively. I think it takes a true talent to be both the model and photographer and that talent is very apparent in her photographs. Yulia's work has appeared on the American Apparel site, issues of New York Art Magazine and Digital Camera Magazine, as well as exhibits in England and Spain. I'm looking forward to meeting her in person and collaborating with her sometime in the not so distant future either here in California or in Israel.
